British Bulldog

I decided to go macro for today’s post. I had a hunt through the ‘bits and bobs’ pot in my music room and found this slightly rusty Bulldog clip which I thought might make a good subject. This was taken on the windowsill and lit from behind with my trusty LED torch. Having done a little research on these handy little clips I discovered the design was patented in 1944 in England by a company called Setten IXL who are still making them today in Wales. We may not make many things in the UK these days but it’s nice to know that we still make something useful here!
