Please tell me everyone had to dress in scary costumes, not just anything that took their fancy? (There is only so much Americanisation a woman can stand, you know :) )

The theme was famous dead people. Greg was Superman; one of the girls was one of the women in Death Becomes Her; and the usual complement of zombies, witches and other ghostly delights. All good costumes, no tarts!
