Wonderful Backlight

There is a facinating mix of living and dead trees on these upper slopes.

This is my great friend Barbara. We met when we were 16 years old and were the two new girls in the American high school in Upper Heyford, England where our Air Force dads were stationed in January in 1967. She lives in North Carolina and I visited her last week. On our day of traveling on the Blue Ridge Parkway, she was very patient with my constant picture taking and even carried my camera bag! Great set, very nice landscape, but what are you doing with f/32, f/36? For the most time I use it up to 11 (even for the nightshots) .

I think 2 and 6 are great. There is a lot of potential in that mountain area, you are really lucky to live near there.
