The story about the legen...wait for it..dary 1-cent:
We were having lunch on a piazza, I ordered a fanta while the others shared a vino rosso. My fanta wasn't sparkling and tasted horrible so I got a new one. Then one of the other girls discovered something in their glass floating around. Here's teh dialogue between us and the waitress;
us; excuuuuusemeeee?! scusa! scusi!!! excusemee!!
w: yes?
us: there's somthign wrong with this wine!
w: what's the problem?
us: (holding the glass to her face and point at the floating things) see??
w: why?
us: why?! you ask us why??!?
w: wait
(..coming back with a new wine..)
Anne Lovise; umm.. Same problem with this wine, loook!
us: Excuuseme!!! scusaaa!!!! SENTI!!!!
w: what??
us: same problem
w: (really irritated) wait..
(coming back with boss(B= boss)
B: it is totally normal!! when it's cold then hot outside, you find these things in the wine
Kristine: ehmm.. we've never seen that before and we've tasted a lot of wine..
B: (really pissed) IT IS normal!!!!
(he walks away, we finish our shitty pizza, and asks for the check)
check says 35,5€
W: so, u don't have to pay coperto because of the wineproblem, so now it costs only 38€. (walks away)
Kristine: WHAT?! the check says 35 euro and she says we're gonna pay 38?! no way!! let's get our handbags and getr ready to run into the store behind us!!
(We left 1 cent for tip,and staretd to run aaway. inside the store Kristine and I saw through the window that Anne Lovise was caught by the waitress. When she finally got in we asked her what happend)
AL: we paid the right amount?!
K: yes, + 1 cent!
AL: well.. she gave it back to us!! at first she thought we didn't pay enough, so i had to wait till she had counted, then she got really frekaed out when she discovered taht we've paid right, so we got back the 1 insulting cent we gave her!
